Each week we see new faces at Lion of Judah. We don’t single out visitors but welcome everyone to find their way into LoJ at their own pace. What to expect at a Lion of Judah Meeting:DressMost people dress very casually but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable…we’re pretty sure what you wear doesn’t matter to God, so it doesn’t to us either. MusicWe start our meetings with worship for about 45 minutes. We are contemporary in sound and passionate in expressing our love to God. You’ll probably see people waving flags and perhaps even dancing. GivingFor those who value the mission of this place, and are learning to give, we give back to God a portion of what He’s given to us. God StoriesThe Bible is full of accounts of how God involves himself in people’s lives, the same is true today. We take 5-10 minutes in our gatherings to share "God Stories", testimony’s from ordinary people sharing about extra ordinary encounters with God. MessageA 30 - 40 minute message about applying God’s truths to life’s challenges. Prayer SupportOffered at the front of the Auditorium after every morning service. TimeOur services are usually around 2 hours. Children & TeensWe release our kids for age appropriate teaching after worship is over. During worship, our children frequently wave banners and laugh a lot. We have four large classrooms for our kids; Fuel Youth Class (grade 7 -10) God’s Clubhouse (ages 6-12), pre-school (ages 3-5) and nursery (newborn – 2 years). |
"Life and faith happen 24/7.
We love our large group gatherings but living the Christian life is more than 90 minutes a week. We have various mid week and weekend group meetings for children, youth and adults, a prayer room that’s open a lot, and people who meet and encourage one another over a cup of coffee."
Lion of Judah has small groups (or “Life Groups”) that meet throughout the week. Our groups vary in personality and emphasis, such as:
- Bible studies
- Friendship & support
- Intercession
- Marriage
